IPhone / IPad Screen Does Not Start After IOS 10 / 10.1 / 10.2 Update

If your iPhone or iPod iPad screen is black and the device will not power up, it could be a variety of reasons. Sometimes hardware failures may cause, but other times it might just be a new software update glitch. If you have just updated to the new iOS 10 and now your iPhone or iPad will not be able to come back, you can try to fix it with the following methods:

  1. Try to force the device to restart. Press the Sleep / Standby button and the main button for at least 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
  2. Connect the iPad iPhone to the power source, and allow it to charge for up to one hour.
  3. Restore your iDevice with iTunes. Connect your device to a computer and open iTunes> Force it to restart when your device is connected, keep them pressed until the Recovery Mode screen appears> Select Update to iTunes.
  4. Use third-party repair software.
